MDSTAT shows RAID volumes as a "Logical Devices"

Last Updated: Mar 15, 2018 10:30AM PDT
Note: JBOD configurations (or systems with only one ioMemory card installed) will not have MDSTAT information.

fusionservice Command: # cat /proc/mdstat
Servicereport: /proc/mdstat

NOTE:
ION uses MDADM to create RAID configurations across ioMemory devices and presented to ION as a Logical Volume. If there are not enough ioMemory cards to create a RAID configuration or the user configures them as JBOD, then MDADM is not used and they are presented as Physical devices.
