Creating an ION volume (4.0.0)

Last Updated: Mar 16, 2018 11:19AM PDT
Here is an example of creating a LUN on an ION system running in promiscuous mode:

1. From the ION console, create a storage pool,

By default this command creates a pool that consumes all the available slots with the same type of NVMe drives in the ION system.

2. Create a volume from the maximum performance (RAID 0) pool

After creating the volume you can use the luns command to display the LUNs that were
automatically created.
